No control
Lack of control and performance indicators is one of the most common reasons for investment failure. Therefore, together with the investment decision, it is necessary to define the objectives and indicators allowing for ongoing control of the investment implementation.

How do we do it?
The implementation of an investment project takes place in strictly defined stages and with the determination of risks and scenarios having a different impact on the project over time.
Building an investment plan
Analysis of indicators, risks and investment scenarios
Defining an action strategy
Identification of those responsible for the implementation of the plan
Distribution of tasks and resources
Plan implementation
Tracking indicators and deviations (implementation control)

Production of furniture components
For our client – the investor – we have made a risk analysis of the investment in the casting line with the casting mold and patented design. The investor has numerous contacts in the furniture industry, which means that he was faced with the possibility of receiving a contract for the supply of 18 million metal fasteners.
The size of the investment was PLN 723,000 and included assembly of the production line, purchase of a casting mold, purchase of raw materials and commissioning of a foundry with staff. The NPV of this project, after numerous consultations and project optimization, was over 11%, and the return on investment was estimated at 3 years and 8 months.
R&D project in the field of production logistics.
In autumn 2020, a young design engineer came to us with an idea for a product for production companies or various types of workshops / services. This product, the elements of which are currently under development, and some solutions are subject to legal reservations, is to improve the logistics processes in the above-mentioned company, ensuring a better flow of tools, components and information – in production departments, tool shops, purchasing departments or even at the suppliers themselves.
As our client did not know and did not want to deal with the business and analytical part only by developing his concept, he left the rest to us. As a last resort, a three-stage strategy for launching a product development project was created, along with a financing strategy and budget implementation.
Ecological packaging
This is a new idea of one of our long-term customers who, while still trying to keep up with the new trends, decided to expand its offer with the sale and delivery of ecological packaging. As it had its own know-how and logistics facilities to service urban areas, all he needed to do was examine the profitability of the investment. Despite the high entry threshold for this project, the whole project was estimated with a payback period of no more than 15-18 months. The original assumptions of the project were heavily modified with regard to the purchasing and logistics policy, and at the stage of analysis, costs were reduced by 23%.
New title
Poles read less and less lifestyle magazines everyday, because everything can be found on the Internet. Despite that, various types of professional magazines written by recognized authorities in relevant fields, are gaining popularity. Our client came to us with such an idea and, while looking for a strategic investor, needed to build an optimal investment and product development scenario. After many stormy analyses, research on a very extensive publishing market, and collecting a lot of data, such a scenario was built. It differed far from the original assumptions (e.g. instead of one title, during the talks, the necessity to publish a second title was built in parallel), but as a result it met with recognition and interest of potential investors.
